The seven Learning Village Family Place spaces are located in Calgary Board of Education (CBE) and Calgary Catholic School District (CCSD) schools within Greater Forest Lawn (GFL) area of Calgary. They are large bright, welcoming rooms where our Partners and other service providers host free and low-cost programming or services for local families and children.
Many programs are popular and run each semester and in several Family Pace locations, others are unique offerings. Programs include:
- Parent & Tot
- After-School
- Literacy
- Money Management
- Babysitting
- First Aid
Family Place also hosts special events and resource fairs during Parent-Teacher interview nights. Partners and other service providers use Family Place for one-on-one sessions and private meetings.
