Family Connectors in The Learning Village provide one-to-one support for families to help them access any services and supports they may require to be resilient, healthy and well-connected within their community.
Working closely with teachers and school staff, Family Connectors are referred to families who require help to navigate the complexity of Calgary information and resources. Greater Forest Lawn area residents may also reach out directly to Family Connectors and ask for information and links.
Family Connectors also collaborate with schools and CLVC Partner and service provider colleagues to support parental engagement in the schools. They also help school staff to access service provider supports and community resources for their school.
